Edit: Here's my current revisions
Um, not sure if titties are allowed on blogger and was too lazy to check, soooo, yah. Anyway, I've been working on this model for over a month, and I need to rig it before Tuesday. So crit ASAP pleaaaaase. It's the same woman that I put concept images up of. I just haven't made her hair or clothes yet. I specifically am having trouble with her shoulder blades and neck. Thoughts?
Ohhhh! Looks awesome, Katrin! (I don't have a lot of time to crit, so I'm sorry if this is short!) The modeling itself looks gorgeous, just some proportion problems that should be relatively easy-ish to fix (at least, I hope it is!). The ears are a bit small, neck is a touch too long, and the eyes are a bit too sunken. I'd pop out the back of the skull too so that the hair will rest much nicer when you add that in (unless the hair is polygonal?) Sorry I'm sucking at critique right now, but I thought I just drop a few little things your way. Great job! It looks like it took a ton of work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny, I want the neck a little long, but the rest is helpful.
ReplyDeleteHey, I think the neck looks pretty good musculature wise. All the right muscles are there but they aren't exaggerated, so that's really nice. I get the issue with the shoulder blades though. Right now they look like they're too pronounced...and I think especially so right in the middle where they should have some space to move between them. They just need some more breathing space...Once that's fixed they should look a lot more natural. I totally don't really know anatomy well enough to know how they really should be, but that's what looks weird to me right now! Thanks for posting this though, there's so much on her that's really stellar. kudos for sure!
