Where has Shannon been?

I've managed to drop the ball hardcore on this, between school, packing for my eventual moving back in with the parents and getting a new job. I have been working on some things, but it's more on the every-3-days schedule instead of daily >_>

Here's some doodles from a comic I've been working on for a while! These are all directly scanned from my sketch book, eventually I'll get around to cleaning them up with Photoshop...

Oh man, so apparently I fail at this daily updating thing. It's kind of hard to be creative when you're trying to find a job and wading through all those generic online applications with their stupid repetitive generic questions that are supposed to gauge your personality or something >:[

But here I am! With a sketch of another character of mine, the semi-deity Coyote. Yes, he is wearing a pinstripe fedora and a duck tie. I hand drew the picture a while ago and then scanned it in to go back over it with my tablet in Photoshop.
I am aware that he's still missing a forelimb, which I'll get around to sketching in... sometime.

Derp Dog deserves a friend

Frolicking about like happy people. Or mentally special people.This was drawn at the same time as Derp Dog. Because when I get on a roll, I can draw several pages of silly things at one go.

Madame Midnight

This is a sketch of a character from a illustrated fairy tale story that my little cousin Fiona has asked me to make for her. She is Madame Midnight (oh shit, it's the title!), who isn't a fairy but is a creature from the Otherworld. The cloak she's wearing is made out of a tiger skin and it almost seems as if the gloves on the sleeves have actually become her hands.
I'm actually really pleased with how this has been going. I still have a bit to sketch and then clean it up but it looks good for less than an hour spent on it :D

Sketch of an angel-ish lady

I doodled this one a while ago in my sketch book, then took a picture of it (cause I'm poor and don't have scanner) and went over the pencil with my tablet. I'm not sure how I want to go about coloring it, but I know that I want the color scheme to be cool colors (i.e. blues, greens, etc.)
I'm also aware of the anatomy flaws... like that shoulder being way too big :/ And folds in cloth is the bane of my existence.

Yay for two days in a row that I've updated! Here's to keeping up with a daily post *crosses fingers*

Derp Dog

This image is partly my dog's fault and partly Amaya's fault. If her Ume blog weren't so darn cute, I wouldn't be tempted to emulate the style. And if my dog weren't so derpy, I wouldn't be inspired to draw her like this.
