PN! early concepts

My writer-friend contacted me today about a possible future graphic novel collaboration. I don't have time for it right now but after I graduate I may pursue it as an on/off project. He gave me a brief rundown of the story and some of the characters, and I got so excited I doodled these preliminary things.

The Number J - First Sketch

Decided to draw my favorite SC2 caster Day[9] in a classic pose. Just a rough and dirty sketch, I'll see about working into it more later. Drawing Reference and Joke Reference.

I doodled this one a while ago in my sketch book, then took a picture of it (cause I'm poor and don't have scanner) and went over the pencil with my tablet. I'm not sure how I want to go about coloring it, but I know that I want the color scheme to be cool colors (i.e. blues, greens, etc.)
I'm also aware of the anatomy flaws... like that shoulder being way too big :/ And folds in cloth is the bane of my existence.

Yay for two days in a row that I've updated! Here's to keeping up with a daily post *crosses fingers*
