oh, yah, I've been coloring stuff too.


I just realized I don't think I've posted one single colored thing, which is funny cause I probably end up spending more time on my coloring for comic books hw than anything else.

So, here's some lineart I was assigned, and here's how I used the 'smudge' technique for rendering the girl color. First lineart I've liked too. The color pallet was assigned too. Supposedly we will get more freedom at some point :/

  1. I like that one! Though, it's very interesting how the image really changes with the color being added to it. The first one looks very agressive and outgoing and adventurous, where as the second one (the colored) almost looks sad

  2. Yes, I was trying to keep her angry but also mimic my teacher's way of coloring. His made her look completely round and happy which I sort of hated.

    But then he ripped me apart in crit cause of how different mine is, you know too much definition, and expression in the face, and my favorite, no shiny highlights on the skin, because people's skin is actually as shiny as their hair and eyes. D:<

    But thanks! I've totally forgotten what famous guy made the lineart :/
